Stop the Presses is a documentary about the decline of the newspaper industry in an age internet media consumption seems to be growing exponentially. Apparently "what’s at stake is the role of the journalism in a free society. Many American newspapers have seen advertising revenues plummet, printing costs rise, readership decline and shareholders increasingly unsatisfied with their financial returns." From a newspaper's point of view it makes sense, however what cannot be ignored is that the internet at least to some extent decentralises the established media owners' top-down information model. Wikileaks being one great example.
