A screening of short films and animations chosen by Tomato from this year's graduates. The screenings will be followed by a Q&A with Tomato.
Tide / Luke White

A boy and his father live a harsh existence against a desolate backdrop. Whilst the father is stranded, the boy’s physique allows him to pass through a small tunnel leading to a place very different from their own. He brings back footage to satisfy his fathers desire to re-live memories of when he too could make this journey. Tide is the story of a father’s obsession that will ultimately lose him the respect of his son, and in turn his companionship.
Wolves / Rafael Sommerhalder

Rafael tells stories — the animated way.
Sam's Hot Dogs / David Lopez Retamero

Sam lives a relaxed life selling hot dogs in the middle of a road that crosses a forest. His hot dog van, his huge bear and a bit of company once in a while are all he needs.
Yellow Belly End / Philip Bacon

An enormous cliff top, blue skies, multiple deaths and a man keeping a meticulous note of it all.
Goodbye Mr Pink / Helen Piercy

A little girl journeys into a world of imagination when she discovers that her pet rabbit is dead. She conjures up a macabre fantasy about what death may be like and, in doing so, is able to say goodbye.
End of the line / Li Marhaban

A young woman, lost in the sea of work; weather-beaten from hours of commuting, abandoned, lonely and alone.
Cityscape / Seong Lee

Experimental piece.
