Amazon buys Withoutabox.com

Withoutabox.com

Withoutabox.com, a service which many film makers use to submit their films to multiple festivals has been bought by IMDb, owned by Amazon. Amazon is planning to take on Itunes by launching their own rival service. With Itunes launching new services such as movie rentals, this could be a move by Amazon to add new channels to their artillery as well as giving independent film makers new ways of getting their film seen.
