The Leisurama story is one of ambition, creative marketing, and a desire to leave the daily grind behind and escape to a fun, playful utopia. It is a story about a post-war nation searching for peace and diversion on the home front. It is a story about the clash of ideologies. It is a story about suntans, fishing, and outdoor barbecues.
A bit of rock history today from the champions of ‘Pomp Rock’, Styx who were first ever band to gain triple platinum album releases. I understand this was part of a larger theatrical production that kicked off with a big budget short film called ‘Kilroy Was Here’ which they describe as a rock opera. The song tells part of the fictitious story of Robert Orin Charles Kilroy (ROCK), in Kilroy Was Here. And also features the now famous phrase “Domo Arigato Mr Roboto”
