My name is Pavey, Nathan Pavey. I currently a "Gun For Hire" as a filmmaker and editor.
I'm originally from London, but I have lived in Germany and Australia. While in Sydney I completed my degree in "Media, Arts And Production" at UTS. While attending University, I worked as a camera operator on several projects. Most notably the AFI award winning comedy show "Double The Fist". It was a small crew and I learnt alot on the job. I started out as a runner/camera assistant and ended up assistant editor and compositor.
On returning to the UK. I completed a diploma in Digital Filmmaking at SAE Institute. Once graduating I have worked as a freelance Camera/Editor for several companies, as well as working on my own projects includin "I'd Like To Thank my Mum" which was shown as part of the Cineclub Selection Box at the BFI.
Before I decided to step behind the camera, my first career was on the stage, appearing in mostly large scale musicals including "Me & My Girl", "Spiderman The Musical" (Yes, the musical) and working with Jim Henson on "Sesame Street, Live".
